Thargomindah Motorbike Sports and Enduro

Arguably Far South West Queensland’s most popular motorbike event of the year! This weekend is fast paced and action packed, filled with exciting thrills and spills which showcases the amazing motocross skills of their youngest thrill seekers right through to their visiting motocross champions. Saturday kicks off the weekend with motorbike sporting events which include challenges that cater for all levels of riding experience, from children to the more advanced motorbike enthusiasts – hey, even Mum could get in on the action! Sunday challenges the more adventurous rider with a three hour enduro ride that snakes through the Bulloo River channels, the rider with the most completed laps will be the winner. There are three different classes to compete in – 250cc, 450cc and the Masters Pony Express which is open for the over 35’s. There will be a canteen and bar operating all weekend with amenities onsite. Entry to this event is free and participation is encouraged. Visitors, locals and tourist will all be welcomed to come and join the action at the Thargomindah Rodeo Grounds. Free camping (with hot showers) will be available for attendees over the weekend.
